Refdesk.com - find almost anything. My name is Brendan Mosher. I was born and have lived all of my life in Rhinebeck, New York. Rhinebeck is located in the Hudson Valley and is about 60 minutes north of West Point. My family owns and opperates a vegetable farm, called Brittany Hollow Farm. My family consists of my dad (Darryl), mother (Debby), my sister (Brittany-17 years old), and my brother (Ross-16 years old). We also have a black lab named Bo. My family is really down to earth and I love them lots.
I enjoy playing sports of all kinds. My favorite sports are football, basketball, and baseball. My favorite teams are the San Fransisco 49ers, and the New York Yankees. Some of my favorite hobbies are playing computer games, metal detecting, building/tinkering with computers and listening to all kinds of music. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, family, and just have a good time.
I came to West Point because I wanted to become a leader, serve my country in some manner and because I didn't want to be just an ordinary college student. I wasn't sure what I thought about being in the Army but from what I've seen so far I like it alot. During my 4 years here at West Point, I am going to try my best to become well rounded and excel at everything. This is going to take lots of hard work, but hopefully through good time management I will be able to have some fun on the side. I hope to play on the club rugby team next year as a Yuk. As for after graduation, I am going to try to give the Army and my country 110% everyday. I plan to stay in the Army as long as I feel that I am enjoying it and benefiting those around me. Other than that I want a family, a nice house and a lot of land so I can buy lots of cool toys to play with. As of now, I want to live in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic.
But I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, his greatest fulfillment of all he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. --Vince Lombardi
